Our Houston training facility was specifically designed for exceptional comfort. We use the latest tools and technology to create an environment highly conducive to learning, including exceptionally comfortable chairs, ergonomically advanced workstations with high-end computer equipment, an outstanding visual display delivery system as well as a wide assortment of snacks and drinks to keep you hydrated, motivated and alert.
Our computer labs are fully equipped with state-of-the-art workstations and High Speed Internet access. Students can be provided with security cards to provide them with 24-hour access to the facility.

We are on Cypress Creek Parkway (Formerly FM 1960) between I-45 and SH-249. We are on the north side of the street, across from Home Depot. There is a large Northwest Chamber of Commerce sign on the top of our building. ETEC is conveniently located 15 minutes away from Hewlett-Packard headquarters on SH 249, and only 25 minutes from Bush International Airport. You can park in the front or sides of the building. . Classrooms are located on the second floor.

Yes, we can include deluxe single-occupancy hotel accommodations in our Houston location. Your best bet is to contact us so we can share different options and customize exactly what you’ll need.
Feel free to wear shorts, jeans or even sweatpants. You may dress comfortably as long as it is not disruptive to other students.
Yes, a full lunch is provided every training day. In addition, we also provide a wide variety of unlimited snacks and beverages throughout the day free of charge.
Training begins at 9:00 am and is scheduled through 5:00 pm. Lunch break is provided at midday. Periodic breaks during the day help to keep students alert and give them a chance to revitalize. Snacks and beverages are also provided. Evening dinner break is usually at 5:00 pm, and open labs begin at 8:00 pm. Lecture, lab, review and test is the formula for success.
If you have to leave an IT boot camp for any reason, you may schedule to retake or finish any portion of the course during one of our future scheduled sessions at no charge. However, travel will be at your expense. ETEC will provide a maximum total of meals and hotel accommodations as specified in each course description. The student is responsible for all travel, meals and hotel accommodation expenses that exceed the number specified in the course description.
All Cisco, Microsoft, Linux and CompTia certification exams are included and taken onsite during your training class at ETEC. We are a fully Authorized VUE Testing Center and Prometric Testing Center. If taking an exam other than those just mentioned, ask your training consultant for more details.
ETEC wants you to be successful and we take every precaution to set you up for success. Nobody is perfect and IT certification exams are difficult. Most of our programs include the cost of vendor specific exams. If you do everything your instructor advised you to do during the course and you do not pass, we’ll pay for you to re-take. Our pass rate is typically 90% or greater.
Each student has his or her own computer workstation during an IT boot camp. ETEC students never have to share machines. Our classrooms have the proper equipment you’ll need for the best hands-on experience. We have multiple classrooms with a variety of equipment. We do not train on laptop or notebook computers. In the event we have a machine that fails, our spare servers can be set up for use in less than 5 minutes.
Yes, all of our lab computers have full internet access or you may bring your own laptop or notebook computer to connect to our wireless network.

ETEC instructors have developed our own proprietary courseware and lab guides that extensively cover “real life” scenarios and all exam objectives.
No, you won’t, but you are welcome to get one. A hotel shuttle will be available to bring you to/from the airport and ETEC each day. Please check with the hotel for the shuttle schedule and pricing..
On average, our trainers have more than 12 years experience in a classroom environment. Most have more than 20 years experience in the computing industry.

ETEC can deliver customized training specifically for your organization anywhere in the United States. If you would rather attend one of our locations, we also offer classes in Las Vegas, Chicago, Miami, and the Metro Washington DC / Northern VA area. Please ask your training consultant for more info.

YES. We can deliver on-site training to clients that have a need to train 8 people or more in one session. We have provided this type of training to many organizations over the years. It’s not uncommon for us to deliver 3 to 6 classes a year at the same client location so they can cycle through as many employees as possible.

All Cancellations and/or re-scheduling requests must be received, in writing, by ETEC. You can send your request by letter, fax or e-mail. If payment(s) are originally made by credit card there will be a 5% fee imposed on all refunds regardless of refund method. If a student or company has received a discount off ETEC’s regular retail class price, then that student or company will not be eligible for a refund, but may re-schedule a class or substitute an attendee according to the policy guidelines below.
Refunds will be made according to the following schedule:
*A full business day – to count as a full business day, the written request must be received and acknowledged by an ETEC employee before 10:00 am Eastern time to count as a business day. All written requests received after 10:00 am Eastern time will have the next business day applied as the first full business day.
*No cost to Re-schedule a class as long as a minimum 5 business day, written notice is given.
**Receipt of this policy via e-mail constitutes acceptance of the terms. No exceptions will be made.
