Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA)

1-Week Course


Our 5-Day intensive lab course designed to gives you the knowledge and validates the ability to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot Cisco ASA, including implementation and verification of the most advanced perimeter network appliance on the market.

The training will take you from out of the box to high level complex implementation such as virtual firewall, active-active failover, and clustering. The class will also cover the NextGen Firewall such as FirePOWER Service (NGFW), application visibility & controll, advance malware protection, Next-Gen IPS (NGIPS) and URL filtering subscriptions.

This course is designed for candidate who already have working knowledge of basic networking and network security fundamental.

Extensive Lab and Hands-On sessions:
Each student will design and configure 10 different labs on the above objectives
Each student will have access to ASA 5520 and 5515X
Each student will have access to Cisco 2921 routers and Cisco 3750 switches to simulate their own corporate network.
Minimum Requirements: This is NOT a beginning class in networking. We expect students to have a good understanding of TCP/IP, basic configuration of Cisco Routers, Switches and static routing. If not, please consult with our representative.
