Securing Networks with Cisco Firepower Next Generation (SNCF)

1-Weeks Certification Course


The new ETEC’s (5 days in the classroom with hands-on lab practice) Cisco SNCF training program designed to gives you the knowledge and skills to use and configure Cisco® Firepower Threat Defense technology, beginning with initial device setup and configuration and including routing, high availability, Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) to Cisco Firepower Threat Defense migration, traffic control, and Network Address Translation (NAT).

You will learn how to implement advanced Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) and Next-Generation Intrusion Prevention System (NGIPS) features, including network intelligence, file type detection, network-based malware detection, and deep packet inspection.

Once completed the course and passing the SNCF exam, you will earn the Securing Networks with Cisco Firepower Next Generation Specialist certification. Combine with the Security Core (SCOR) certfication, you will earn the title of CCNP Security.

There are no formal prerequisites for CCNP Enterprise, but Cisco expect you to have the following: (If not, please consult with our representative on Cisco SNCF class)
  • CCNP candidates often also have three to five years of experience implementing enterprise networking solutions.
