Starting Feb 24th 2020, Cisco introduce the CCNP Security certification. This modification allows you to customize your certification to your technical area of focus and get recognized for your accomplishments along the way.

To achieving the CCNP Security certification, you must pass two exams:

The core security technologies (required)
 
  • Implementing and Operating Cisco Security Core Technologies (SCOR)
and one security concentration exam of your area of focus below
 

The new ETEC’s (5 days in the classroom with hands-on lab practice) Cisco SCOR training program designed to gives you the knowledge and skills needed to design, configure, troubleshoot, and manage security technologies.
You’ll also learn to implement the necessary security principles for Endpoint as well as Securing the Cloud.

  • Configure and verify network infrastructure security methods
  • Configure L2 and L3 security
  • Configure AAA for device and network access
  • Implement traffic redirection and capture methods
  • Implement content security
  • Implement Endpoint security
  • Each student will have full access to latest Cisco Network Security Devices

Course exams:
 
  • 350-701 - Implementing Cisco Security Core Technologies (SCOR)

Prerequisites:
There are no formal prerequisites for CCNP Security, but Cisco expect you to have the following: (If not, please consult with our representative on Cisco SCOR class)
 
  • CCNP candidates often also have three to five years of experience implementing security solutions.
