Our CCNP Security certification course is designed for Network Security Engineers who are responsible for testing, deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting the core technologies that make up a Cisco secure network. The CCNP Security assesses an engineer’s competency in using network-critical technologies and products, such as Cisco IOS security features in Cisco routers and switches, Next-Gen firewalls (ASA-X), VPNs, intrusion prevention and detection systems (IPS and IDS) and Identity Management technologies.

Information Systems Security (INFOSEC) Professional Recognition
CNSS 4013 Recognition: The National Security Agency (NSA) and the Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS) recognized that Cisco security courseware meets the CNSS 4013 training standard. By being compliant, the Cisco CCNP Security certification program provides the required training for network security professionals who assist federal agencies and private sector entities to protect their information and aid in the defense of the nation's vital information resources.

Course Content:
This course combines the essentials of Cisco's SND, SNRS, SNPA, IPS and HIPS into a 12 day bootcamp. Successful candidate will need to pass the following four exams:
  • 300-206 - Implementing Cisco Edge Network Security Solutions (SENSS)
     
  • 300-208 - Implementing Cisco Secure Access Solutions (SISAS)
     
  • 300-209 - Implementing Cisco Secure Mobility Solutions (SIMOS)
     
  • 300-210 - Implementing Cisco Secure Threat Control Solutions (SITCS)
     
    Extensive Lab and Hands-On sessions: candidate are required to configure over 20 different labs focussing on network security such as:
  • Zone-Base, ASA, Virtual, Active/Passive and Active/Active Firewalls
     
  • Implement Next-Gen FW with Advance Malware Protection
     
  • Various VPNs technologies and DMVPN
     
  • Implement IDS and IPS
     
  • AAA and Identity Service Engine
     
    Minimum Requirements:
  • Currently holds a valid CCNA Security
        Two or more years working experience in implementing and administering LAN and WAN network environment
