Seminar Non-Certification Course (5 Day Package)
Curriculum Prerequisite Commitment Daily Agenda

Minimum Requirements

Valid professional experience includes information systems security-related work performed as a practitioner, auditor, consultant, vendor, investigator or instructor, or that which requires IS security knowledge and involves direct application of that knowledge

Candidates must meet the following requirements prior to taking the CISSP examination:

  • Subscribe to the (ISC)² Code of Ethics.

  • The minimum professional experience requirement for CISSP certification is five years of direct full-time security professional work experience in two or more of the 10 domains of the CISSP CBK, or four years of direct full-time security professional work experience in two or more of the ten domains of the CISSP CBK with a college degree. Alternatively, there is a one year waiver of the professional experience requirement for holding an additional credential on the certifying body’s approved list.

Recertification is required every three years with ongoing requirements to maintain your credentials in good standing.

You don't have to be affiliated with an organization to take the CISSP® examination

Screening Process

Upon our receiving your registration, you will be contacted for an informal and brief screening process in order to determine eligibility for the program. The screening process is designed to assess student commitment level, technical background, and enthusiasm. Screening can be conducted either via telephone interview or scheduled meeting with the instructors.

Level of Commitment

It is extremely important that you attend every session and are on time. The intense nature of this course requires students understand that there are many long days. Many students remain at the facility up to 12 hours at a time. Additionally, we recommend that the students eliminate additional distractions, and, if necessary, hotel accommodations can be made to keep the students focused on the course.

Should the student be unable to commit to the course, the student will be asked to leave and a no refund will be applied.
