In our 5-Day intensive lab training, you will learn to build the Unified Communications infrastructure using Microsoft Skype for Business with Office from the ground up including maintaining and troubleshooting your coporate communication system.

The training will take you from installation Skype server, intergrate with Active Directory, Exchange and Office to setup an IP phone, applying extension, music on hold, dial plan and pattern, conferencing that span from a single site to multiple sites. Once the training is completed, you will have the knowledge to maintain, deploy and troubleshoot your existing VoIP network. Read on or contact us for more information and availability

This course is designed for candidates who already have working knowledge of basic networking and VoIP fundamental.

Course Content:
  • Skype server architecture and terminology
  • Design Enterprise Voice topology
  • Configure network services for Enterprise Voice
  • Configure Location Information Services (LIS), Call Admission Control (CAC)
  • Add users, assign them capabilities, and associate them with phones and lines
  • Configure unified messaging (UM)
  • Configure Enterprise Voice client features
  • Configure phone features: shared lines, call park, DND, Music on Hold, and services
  • Setup hunt group for helpdesk or call center environment
  • Configure delegation, simultaneous ring, team calling, and group call pickup
  • Setup and optimize video conferencing
  • Messaging, meetings, and screen sharing all in one app that works with Office
  • Connect to the outside world (PSTN)

  • Class will be pre-configured with Active Directory Domain with Exchange for Enterprise Network
  • Each student will implement the above objectives
